◾️Is it permissible to provide Iftaar to the Muslims inside of the Masjid or on it’s premises and likewise for the Muslims to eat it within?◾️

Here in America, some who are responsible for the Masaajid present Iftaar to the people, out of generosity to them (whether they are poor or not), in the Masaajid or in the courtyards of the Masaajid. From amongst the reasons for doing so, is that alot of people live far away from the Masaajid.
For example, some people live fifteen minutes, half an hour or forty-five minutes away etc. Hence, it is easier for them to eat in the Masjid courtyard, then pray the Ishaa’ prayer in congregation, then the Taraaweeh. And from amongst the reasons for consuming the Iftaar in the Masjid or in the Masjid courtyard is that this action makes it easy for who wants to come and embark upon knowledge based studies which are established a little before the Ishaa’ prayer. So, the food is ready to be eaten immediately after the Maghrib prayer. Therefore, after eating, the one who remains in the Masjid for most of the night or all of it for the purpose of worship, does not have to rush to it because he has already eaten nearby or inside.
Some of the Muslims break their fast in tents outside of the Masaajid or in their courtyards. And some of them do not have the space for that so they eat inside of the Masjid.
Is this presentation from the responsible figures of the Masaajid haram and likewise for those who attend to eat without being mu’takifeen based on the Salaf not having done that according to our knowledge?

Yes, we saw that in South America, that they make food, especially in Ramadhan, in every Masjid for whoever comes to pray Maghrib.
That which is apparent, and Allaah knows best, is that this is making things easy for the people whose homes are far away because the Masaajid there are few.
And there’s nothing wrong with one giving charity to someone who prays in any Masjid by making him food. This is not a problem. For indeed, food used to be made for Ahlus-Suffah or they were given food. There is no problem with that, insha Allaah.

أحسن الله إليكم. لدينا سؤال، نرجو إفادتكم. بارك الله فيكم.
هنا في أمريكا تجد أن بعض مسؤولي المساجد يقدموا الإفطار للناس إكراما لهم (سواء مساكين أو غير مساكين) في المساجد أو في أحواش المساجد و من أسباب ذلك أن كثيرا من الناس يسكونون بعيدين عن المساجد.
مثلا، بعض الناس يسكنون ربع ساعة، أو نصف ساعة أو ساعة إلا ربع من المسجد إلخ، فيكون أسهل لهم أن يأكلوا في حوش المسجد ثم يصلون العشاء مع الجماعة ثم التراويح و من الأسباب يتناولون الإفطار في المسجد أو حوش المسجد أن هذا الفعل ييسر لمن يريد أن يأتي و يقبل على مذاكرة علمية التي تقام قبيل العشاء، فالطعام جاهز للأكل بعد المغرب مباشرة فبعد انتهاء من الأكل ليس للذي يبقى في المسجد أغلب الليل أو طواله للعبادة أن يسرع إليه، لأنه قد أكله عنده أو فيه.
بعض المسلمين يفطرون في خيام خارج المساجد أو في أحواشها و بعضهم ما لديهم الوسع لذلك فيأكلون داخل المسجد، فهل يحرم هذا التقديم من المسؤلين في المساجد و كذلك للحاضرين أن يأكلوا دون أن يكون معتكفين مبينا على أن السلف ما كانوا يعملون ذلك على حسب علمنا؟
